Eman Resort pool surrounded by olive trees in Ulcinj, Montenegro

Eman Resort

Ulcinj · Montenegro · Olive grove retreat

Location

Between the grove and the sea

The neighbourhood surrounding Eman Resort is a rare sanctuary where the wild Adriatic coast meets one of the Mediterranean's most significant cultural landscapes. Known as the olive climate, the area offers a tranquil alternative to the busy centre of Ulcinj, while the city, its beaches and its restaurants stay only minutes away by car.

Stepping outside the resort you are immediately immersed in a silver-green sea of more than 18,000 olive trees, a protected forest and living museum with many trees dating back to the Roman era. A short scenic descent leads to Valdanos Cove, a horseshoe-shaped bay once used as a hideout by the pirates of Ulcinj, with deep emerald water and a large pebble shoreline framed by the ridges of Mavrijan and Mendre.

Free private parking is available on site without reservation, and the team can arrange airport transfers, car or bicycle rental and guided walks through the groves.
